So when they announced Wreckfest on Nintendo Switch I was a bit scared that the game would run like a potato and would be downscaled so bad that the graphics would look like a PS2 game.

You'll need a decent mid end or high end PC to be able to run it on a stable 60fps and even then you can have frame drops. If you've played or have seen Wreckfest on PC, Playstation or Xbox you already know it is a pretty demanding game hardware wise. I've seen a lot of great ports (like Redout, Mutant Football League, Minecraft, Borderlands) and I've seen a lot of bad ports (MXGP3, GRIP to some extent, Road Redemption) and honostly Wreckfest is one of the best ports I have ever played on the Switch. Like I said before I'm a player that mostly buys ports on the Switch that I also own on PC. So I won't be reviewing the game in general but mostly the port. Overall the concept and gameplay of Wreckfest is awesome no matter which platform you play on.
